Internationally-acclaimed Christian band Newsboys is bringing their high-energy performance back to the Potter Center! With a musical journey spanning nearly four decades, Newsboys have become synonymous with chart-topping hits and inspirational anthems. Songs like “God’s Not Dead”, “We Believe”, and “He Reigns” have touched the lives of millions, offering hope and encouragement to listeners of all ages. With their distinctive sound and thought-provoking lyrics, Newsboys have become one of the most influential bands in contemporary Christian music.
Alive City, led by the talented brother-sister duo Zach and Maddy, rose to prominence as the 2018 CFA Battle of the Bands champions. Their music, which blends genres and defies expectations, has garnered over 40 million streams. Based in Detroit, they take a hands-on approach, handling everything from writing to production. Known for delivering high-energy performances and intimate worship experiences, they have also had their music featured in popular shows like “Dude Perfect.” Their track “Only Ever” has surpassed 15 million Spotify spins.
Newsboys Update
Newsboys recently shared some updates about their future, including the news that Michael Tait has stepped down from the band. Jeff, Jody, Duncan, and Adam are continuing their Worldwide Revival Nights tour with renewed energy, ready to share music, tell stories, and worship together.
They shared, “While the messenger may change, the message remains the same… Newsboys isn’t going anywhere; we’re going everywhere. The next chapter is just beginning!”
